It's been a crazy term with both work and uni. Finally on school and uni break for a week! Yipee, time to clean up and get serious making happening. I've got so many creative projects on the bubble right now I haven't had much time for surface design of late, but this beauty came out of a uni assessment! I love it when the things you're passionate about start having a purpose in your life!
I started my quest into surface design without really knowing why or much about it except I loved the work I was seeing and really wanted to create. I'm still not sure where this journey is going to take me but there is nothing more rewarding than being happy with your designs.
These ones were designed for a redevelopment of the Marrickville Metro site for a uni project. The shopping centre is on the site of an old wool mill so I've used machinery and wool spools as the visuals, and I'm loving it!
Now off to clean up and get some serious making happening, I've got travel tins for Christmas gifts to fill with decedent scents of goodness for our Soy Massage Candle range. I'm so impatient to be exploring new scents combinations, and I'm developing a new range of travel soaps for Christmas gifts as well. Very excited!
