I had much joy and satisfaction this year wrapping gifts for loved ones in paper I designed and had printed through Spoonflower. I'm not super conventional with my Christmas decorations and I enjoy putting a fresh spin on an Australian summer Christmas. I'm looking forward to working on next years range of designs for Christmas and seeing how the designs evolve over 12 months.
Christmas pics with my 2 favourite girls. My beautiful daughter who seems to be just a little taller than me now and our gorgeous little Papillon Bronte, who broke her dainty little leg just before Christmas after a very ambitious jump from the bed.
New patterns that I'm loving, created from Pattern Camp. I can't wait to see these on gift wrap and fabric.
Okay, slowly getting back into Pattern Camp with Jessica Swift and revisited some of the designs from the start of the course. I kept meaning to post these up here but as the work life balance slipped away and became work - work, time to share on this space became harder to squeeze out of the day. I think this is my favourite pattern to date. Thank you Jessica Swift.
On a side note; I'm wrapping Christmas presents up with some of my gift wrap at the moment, as soon as I'm done I'll post up a photo. It's a really pleasurable experience seeing lots of lovely presents wrapped in paper I've designed. I've also got some awesome work of a dear friend Dee Martin to show so more to come over the next few weeks.
Just about to launch back into Pattern Camp, thank you Jessica Swift for extending the course for those of us caught up with commitments, and I’m working on a new range of prints for fabric. This was a tablecloth finished a while ago by me, and a cushion that my lovely child designed.
